Well you know look I was amazed you know here in the past five to seven years since I looked back and I can remember in the early to mid-90s when I was still in elementary school that they actually broke out some information about mortgages interest fuck I remember in the third and fourth grade they were telling us all about the dangers credit cards I mean we weren't even teenagers yet and they were talking about that shit now I will say that there was a big switch in the curriculum that occurred I would say the mid-90s on where there was a lot less emphasis placed upon that that they didn't really care to talk about anything in that realm until perhaps you got into junior high school you know I switched schools a little bit so I was one of the few in the class that actually fucking heard this shit in the third or fourth grade and the teachers couldn't believe it because apparently it was not part of the curriculum in that particular School district so and then of course what this guy's talking about teaching in terms of the class of adulting well you don't kid yourself they didn't have that available even in the 50s. I know that a lot of the Boomers like to act as if they learn all of this crap in high school but no you did not there was nothing in school hardly about it you might have gotten a bit more knowledge of how interest rates work and math class somewhere but as far as they actually stopping and talking to you about the specifics of the mortgage just the interest rate and explaining to you why it would be better to buy a house at X age then it would be to buy a house at an older xh right there was none of that of course part of the reason why the curriculum would have pivoted away from any of this such as I said since the late 90s was because I can also remember it was about fourth grade did somebody come up with some prediction based on statistics of the time talking about how by the time we get to exactly today that the average cost of a house is going to be pretty much the better half of 500,000 I don't know who in the hell produced that I don't know how and why they really produced it but I'm still blown away to this day but that's actually accurate that that was one thing that somehow got through the filter of the bigger school system and they got it right. So basically I would argue that I'm the age of 39 born in 85 so basically in the early mid-90s we were basically told you're not going to be able to afford a home and then it was echoed throughout the rest of our school career even in the early 2000s that you're most likely going to drop dead on the job there is no such thing as retirement for you guys you're fucked. Here's the bitch a portion of the education system had already acknowledged that by the time you get to the midnight so when they switched the curriculum from telling you all about the importance of interest rates and a math class and then they replaced that with some advanced fucking algebra in the 5th grade okay basically there was no point in talking to you about interest rates because chances are you're never buying a whole you might have a credit card but you're probably not by I mean that's basically what they've laid out I was there I saw it!

Basically well it's funny he would mention conspiracy theories and being prone to simply because a lot of us in the nineties thought it was a huge conspiracy theory that all the sudden there's this forced socialization that you have to socialize and then of course they immediately wanted to turn those of us that weren't so big on socializing into the weirdos they basically caused the alienation see they talked about this problem then they immediately caused they're at fault. And it wasn't that a lot of us wasn't big on socializing it was more so that we didn't particularly give a fuck to socialize within the confines of school so the teachers hardly saw a 10th of who we were but then immediately proceeded to pass judgment and it caused nothing but singling out and great amounts of humiliation for a lot of us and that alone basically pushed us further away if they didn't shut the fuck up and let us be then to be honest I think the outcomes would have been quite different I believe that that is still true to this day they are actually the reason why a lot of people had seeked solace behind a computer. It's not that paperwork lazy or something inherently wrong with them it was you know people just got tired of it just like me I ain't got shit from not only the people at school but I got it from my outer family you know my cousins and stuff. I mean I literally did not belong anywhere yet what was funny as I would still go down to the neighbor's house and talk to them you know I was always especially talking to older people I didn't particularly care to socialize with his age most notably because I thought that a lot of them were frankly quite stupid. There was a point in time where some of the teachers at school started to figure that out and they realized that well you know maybe the sky a bit more intelligence than we previously thought and maybe that's really the case you have a feast intelligent he's not going to want to socialize in the way in which his age group maybe do but then of course it's still leaves me the odd man out because I don't have anybody to spar with. So of course this situation gave way to the rise of two income families basically by the time you get into the 1970s stay at home mom and her the homemaker housewife was practically a thing it existed yes definitely it existed more in the 70s and did the 80s and it existed in the '80s more than it did the 90s but I can certainly say that by the time you get to the mid-90s it was a few and far between type of thing to see a single income family even just between a married couple with no children. Honestly there are those that would talk about how it's that way by the time you get to the early to mid 80s there again they exist just not in great numbers. But of course the government wanting to double its tax money revenue based on if both parents are working gave way to the demise of the family of course to keep these people working they had to make the cost more difficult to afford thus making the two income family a necessity to make both parents work became standard of course this gave way to another industry and that would be daycare the child care industry right now is huge and it sucks up a lot of welfare funds. I mean you realize that a daycare center as the ability to rake in more money than your local fucking doctor's office I mean the rates to watch the children are ridiculous. There was a fair amount of gen xers who basically grew up in daycare and/or at babysitters simply because Mama went and got a big job whether Mama really needed that big job or not. And then a lot of these people wonder why their kids don't come see a Christmas you know that they don't bust their ass to come home from the holidays it's like well why should they hardly know you if they weren't in school which frankly also doubles as daycare then they were down at daycare. So everybody that wants to continuously work ethic dick wag and talk about how ethical work is think about how it basically destroyed the fucking family think about how it ruins children because the children grow up to daycare and not necessarily with their parents they know their parents are the people that they have dinner with us every evening they might have a weekend with that's really about it otherwise they know that these two people drive them to fucking daycare everyday and their summer is generally ruined because they have to set fucking daycare.
